I am the first to admit that I have returned to Parmesan after a bit of a break and find today (20080308) it (1.3 or 1.2) doesn’t work. After logging-on and trying to send someone a message, the machine locks up when I hit send. The message is received at the other client and it thinks I am still online, even after the necessary alt/break. Has something changed at MSN to sabotage Parmesan?

Interesting – since the other side got the message, it sounds like it’s locking up while trying to lay out the text to display. Both 1.20 and 1.30 do custom fonts, does it make any difference which font you use?

Sorry, should have made a note in my diary to come back here. I have tested with every font I can select and this bahaviour (locking up on send or return) happens every time. I was a bit confused at first, as the selection System Font results in the setting Desktop Font even though I use Homerton in the Desktop, not System.

Some more tests have revealed that nudges work in both directions and I can receive text from WLM on a PC.
