Voice and Webcam.

Voice: Gtalk2voip offers a service that establishes (amongst others) voice communications between a standard SIP service and MSN. Would it be possible (theoretically or practically) for Parmesan to do something similar? i.e. the user has a SIP phone on a static IP on their network. Parmesan receives a voice request and bounces it to that device. To make a call Parmesan first calls the device and the user picks up, then it establishes a call with the contact. This would get round all the problems of codecs and sound inputs that would otherwise exist. Webcam. You (Christian) said in a email that you had a suitable video codec, if I recall correctly. Is there any hope? I have both a sip adaptor and a video capture podule which I would be more than happy to donate if either of these were to be viable. |
