It would be nice if Parmesan could display each contact’s email address and/or screen name, like Grapevine can do. Some of my contacts keep changing their screennames and the only way I can tell who’s who at a glance is by seeing what their email address is.

Is it also possible to change the font size of the contact list as well?

Do you mean permanently? I was going to do a ‘business card’ sort of thing that appears when you hover over someone’s name – this would show their name, picture, email address etc all at once. I also want to improve the chat window ‘message to x’ title since that doesn’t show email addresses or handle group chats very well.

You can change the font size in the main window, but (currently) only by editing the CSS file that describes it – if you edit the file !Parmesan.Styles.Contacts there should be a line starting “font-size” near the start which you can change (then you’ll need to restart Parmesan). This is also due for improvement… if anyone wants to play around with the CSS and prettify the display I’d be delighted – it’d be nice to do some themes for it.
