I cant convert an avi file because the program keeps saying somthing about the bitrate sample being low or somthing. I keep hearing somthjing about using an MPEG layer or somthing. how do you do that.

What I’ve been generally recommending is that you transcode the original source material into a high bitrate MPEG-2 with Layer 2 audio. This will enable DSVideo to encode your video correctly.

If you’re using MS Windows, perhaps some other forum users can help by suggesting a suitable package that you can use to achieve this.

You can perhaps look at the SUPER tool for Windows.
